Castrol RX Super 15W-40 is a premium quality heavy duty diesel engine oil, specially formulated to meet the needs of
American heavy duty diesel engines without DPF/DPD exhaust after-treatment devices, running under harsh Australian
conditions.
Application
Castrol RX Super 15W-40 is recommended for use in all naturally aspirated and turbocharged diesel engines fitted in
trucks, tractors, buses, LCVs and off-highway equipment, agricultural and fixed plant machinery without DPF/DPD exhaust
after-treatment devices.
Prime recommendations for most vehicles without DFF/DPD exhaust after-treatment devices include:
AMERICAN: Caterpillar, Cummins, Detroit Diesel (4-cycle), Mack
EUROPEAN: DAF, Iveco, MAN, Mercedes-Benz, Scania, Volvo
JAPANESE: Hino, Isuzu, Mitsubishi/Fuso, Toyota, UD (Nissan)
Castrol RX Super 15W-40 can also be used in petrol engines* using unleaded, LRP, LPG and CNG fuel.
* note, as with all API CI-4 and CI-4 Plus qualified oils, the phosphorous content does not comply with Australian Motor
Industry agreed limits for catalytic converter equipped petrol engines. The higher phosphorus content may reduce
efficiency and /or effective life of catalytic converters.
